Got back in the pool today. W00t! (As the kids say.) It felt great. I did a simple 2 mile, split in two with a one-minute elementary backstroke in between the two halves. I also sprinted the last 2 minutes of each half. Oh, and about 4 times per half I flipped short at the deep end, and increased kick and stroke rate, to simulate passing someone in open water, something I read about in the new H2Open Magazine.
